The Importance of Product Photography
As a product based business, big or small, product photography can make or break a sale.
With the majority of consumers shopping online now more than ever, your photography needs to be both eye catching, relatable, and true to your products description in order to make the sale.
Your product photography images play the same roll as an elevator pitch. You have seconds to grab the buyers attention, convey to them why they need to buy your product, and how it will better them.
Your images are composed and created to make you product stand out. The focus of your images should be drawing your customer into the product; noticing things like the scent name on a candle label, noticing fine details in handmade products, or seeing the quality of the packaging.
At Anna Danielle Photography, I photograph your products both in use and staged as new. For things like candles or handmade soap, often times candles may be lit, or soap may be placed on a soap dish with other props for a home feel. For products such as the plant propagation wall hanging pictured above, I filled the test tubes with real pathos cuttings from my home in order to show how the product would look in the customers home while in use.
The key to product photography is to create an image that both speaks for the product and your brand while also welcoming the customer to create their own story for your product once they bring it home.
What's the beauty of working with a professional photographer to photograph your products? No matter where in the world we are located, we can work together to create images that speak for and tell your brands story. Each brand has an identity just as each photographer has a style, I strive to match my images to the style and message of each of my product clients.
