Wedding photography has changed a lot in the past several years. Whether you like to keep things traditional or create your own traditions, you can create a wedding experience that fits you! One of my favorite ways to change up traditional wedding photography is creating portraits of you and your partner either days before or after the wedding.
Marie and Andrew decided to have a pre-wedding portrait session to capture those special photographs that they wanted of just the two of them. No stress, no timeline, just capturing beautiful images that they will look back on for years to come. The average wedding timeline only leaves about 15 - 30 minutes for photographs of just you and your partner. As much planning and love went into this special day, I believe that you as the couple who the day is about should have a bit more time together to celebrate than that. This is when a separate portrait session is perfect.
We started their session at the Museum of Art in Raleigh and then explored downtown Raleigh up until sunset. With no timeline to follow, we spent over 2 hours creating portraits. Portraits that truly tell their love story and embrace who they are as a couple. You can see the love and kindness is Andrew’s eyes when he looks like Marie. Marie also has this beautiful grace and elegance about herself, and they are both completely in the moment. This is what I love about these types of session, the stress is just gone, and you truly have the time to enjoy this life moment with the one you will say ‘I do’ to.
So maybe this is a portrait session you want to add onto your wedding package for before your wedding, or it’s something you want to wait and save for after your wedding. The choice is yours but who wouldn’t want to take more time to get all dressed up in that beautiful dress, have hair and makeup done, and create portraits for your home and memories that truly reflect your love!
I would love to chat with you more about this new type of wedding experience and how it can fit into your dream wedding plans. At Anna Danielle Photography, my goal is to serve you and create a wedding photography experience that shows off you and your partner and what matters the most to you.
